Inspired by the City: José Guizar's Windows of New York

José Guizar's discovery of a breathtaking city inspired a passion-driven project to capture its charm in every detail. DAMN, we feels! (read the Volterre story and see why we relate).

He started the project "Windows of New York" as an "illustrated fix for an obsession that has increasingly grown in me since I first moved to [New York City]. A product of countless steps of journey through the city streets, this is a collection of windows that somehow have caught my restless eye out from the never-ending buzz of the streets. This project is part an ode to architecture and part a self-challenge to never stop looking up."

He's illustrated countless windows found throughout New York, and our favorite part is that he notes the address where they can be found, adding context to the personalities of each window. José, you've got us charmed.
